HireKey is a tool to help you prepare for job searches and interviews. It is not a guarantee of any outcome.
You own your resume, your interview responses, and your account. We do not sell that data, and we do not use it to train public AI models.
You agree to use HireKey for your own job search and not to abuse it: no scraping, no impersonating recruiters, no using the product to harass or deceive other people.
If you want to cancel or delete your account, you can do that yourself at any time.
If something goes wrong, we want you to email us first. Most issues are easier to fix that way than through lawyers.
HireKey is a product operated by Rozea, LLC ("HireKey," "we," "us," "our"), with a mailing address at 100 N Howard St, Suite R, Spokane, WA 99201. You can reach us at hello@hirekey.io for general questions or at privacy@hirekey.io for anything related to your data.
By creating an account or using HireKey in any way, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the product.
HireKey is a job search and interview preparation platform. The product includes resume tailoring, interview practice (including voice-based coaching), company research briefings, cover letter drafting, salary benchmarking, and application tracking. Some features use third-party AI providers to generate suggestions, feedback, scores, and other output. We describe how that works in our AI Usage Policy.
HireKey does not guarantee that you will get an interview, an offer, or any specific job outcome. HireKey does not submit job applications on your behalf without your explicit action. HireKey does not impersonate a recruiter, hiring manager, or any employer. HireKey does not sell candidate data to employers, recruiters, or advertisers. AI-generated output can be wrong, incomplete, or generic. Treat HireKey's suggestions as input to your own thinking, not as professional career advice or a binding evaluation of your abilities.
We currently support sign-in through Google. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including any uploaded content. If you think someone else has accessed your account, email security@hirekey.io.
Google accounts less than 7 days old can complete onboarding but cannot use AI-powered features until they reach the 7-day mark. This prevents free-tier abuse from throwaway accounts. You will see your unlock date clearly in the product.
The shortest version: do not use HireKey to deceive employers, to harm other people, to attack our systems, or to game the free tier with bots.
Things that are explicitly fine: using AI feedback to improve your resume, practicing interview answers many times, generating multiple drafts of a cover letter, researching companies before an interview, using the salary benchmark to negotiate a real offer. You do not need to disclose that you used HireKey to prepare. It is a preparation tool, the same way a coach or a book about interviewing would be. If an employer asks directly, answer honestly.
We enforce these rules in proportion to the violation, ranging from warnings and feature disabling for minor issues, to account suspension or termination for clear violations, to immediate termination and potential legal action for serious violations (fraud, attacks on our systems, criminal activity). If your account has been suspended or terminated and you believe we made a mistake, email appeals@hirekey.io. We aim to respond within 7 days.
You keep ownership of what you upload. By using HireKey, you give us a limited license to process that content for the sole purpose of operating the product for you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account. We do not use your content to train public AI models. We do not sell it.
Suggestions, drafted cover letters, tailored resumes, and other output produced by HireKey are yours to use for your job search. You are responsible for reviewing and editing output before sending it to any employer. Because AI output is generated based on patterns, similar input can produce similar output for different users. We do not claim copyright in AI-generated output, and we do not promise it is unique to you.
HireKey relies on third parties for hosting, payments, email, analytics, and AI inference. Each has its own terms. The HireKey name, logo, website, and software (except for your content and AI-generated output we have disclaimed copyright in) are owned by us. If you believe content on HireKey infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@hirekey.io.
You can stop using HireKey and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if payment fails and is not resolved after reasonable notice, if required by law, or if we discontinue a feature (with reasonable notice). On termination, provisions that should logically survive (ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability, dispute resolution) survive.
HireKey is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the product will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate. We do not warrant that AI-generated feedback will be correct or that following any suggestion will lead to a particular outcome in your job search. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HireKey will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event, or (b) $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits.
We would much rather solve disputes by talking. Email legal@hirekey.io and give us a reasonable chance to fix it. These Terms are governed by the laws of Washington State. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts in Spokane County, Washington.
When we make material changes, we will tell you by email or in-product notice before they take effect. Older versions are available on request at legal@hirekey.io.
